Sepcor’s SE-303 dispersant is a concentrated water soluble paraffin and asphaltene dispersant designed for use as a water based well stimulation additive. This unique formula combines superior wetting agents, surfactants and demulsifiers into a package that is especially suited to workover and completion applications.

SE-303 is very effective for cleanout of wellbores drilled using oil based drilling muds. The wetting agents and surfactants make it an excellent cleaning compound and the demulsifier and dispersant components minimize the chance of any emulsion, sludging or solids deposits occurring during cleanouts.

Application

SE-303 can be applied continuously to prevent paraffin and asphaltene deposits or in batch and soak treatments to remove existing deposits. The superior wetting, dispersing and demulsifying characteristics of this compound make it very suitable for use as a pre-flush to acid treatments in wells with asphaltene or paraffin damage.
